This is a part-time role. LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit part-time Support Workers to join our learning disabilities team across Newcastle. As a Support Worker, you will support people to live happy and fulfilled lives within their local communities, ensuring individual support needs are met through person-centred tailored support that promotes choice, independence, and their voice.
We have various Support Worker roles available:
- Outreach services across Newcastle
- Fully funded DBS
- Paid induction training
- Training development: funded Level 3 and other accredited courses
- Holiday pay: annual leave accumulates with working hours
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP): free 24-hour helpline, advice and guidance for yourself and dependents
- Union membership (optional): through our partnership with the GMB

As a Support Worker, you will be kind and compassionate, building caring and supportive relationships with the individuals you support and their families. As a Support Worker, you will:

Training: Paid induction training includes classroom-based sessions, shadowing, and additional online modules. Additional Specialist Training is provided to all new recruits, equipping you to meet the needs of the people we support and enabling you to provide a person-centred approach.
