Do you have experience working in retail as a shop assistant? Then you already have many of the skills needed to become an excellent Care Assistant. We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role, you do not need care experience; we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, such as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant.
Applicants must be based in Liverpool, UK.
You will be recruited to a dedicated care team operating in:
- Dovecot (L14)
- Knotty Ash (L14)
- Broadgreen (L14)
For this role, we are recruiting: 4 x drivers
Shift pay rather than pay per call, which means you are paid from the start of your first call to the end of your last call within a shift.
Pay: £12.30 p/hr (drivers)
Mileage: 45p per mile for drivers
Full-time hours available
Bonus schemes*: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus, £25 birthday gift voucher.
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which include early starts, late evenings, and weekend work:
- Full Days: 7am-2pm then 4pm-10pm (2-hour break included)
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, we will agree on your working pattern, setting a 2-week rota which includes:
- Alternate full weekends, or every Saturday or every Sunday
- Evenings as agreed within your working hours

If you have previous retail experience, you’ll already have many of the skills needed to make an excellent Care Assistant for Be Caring. Patience, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all essential qualities for this role.
As a Care Assistant working within Dovecot, Knotty Ash, and Broadgreen, you will:
- Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.
- Promote independence using enabling approaches.
- Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
- Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.
- Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.

- Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red).

- Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health, and capacity.
