Day Shifts | Full-Time & Part-Time | £12.75 – £13.30 per hour

LIFE by Be Caring is recruiting compassionate, skilled and values-driven Support Workers to join our specialist Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Care services across Newcastle and Gateshead. These are active, rewarding roles where you'll be part of structured, person-centred support packages — helping people to live safely, confidently and meaningfully in their communities.

Our Current Vacancies:

  • Full-Time Female Support Worker – NE5

    We're looking for a patient, resilient female Support Worker to join the team supporting a young woman in her own home. She uses a communication aid and takes her time to express herself. She needs a Support Worker who will give her the space and time to communicate independently, never speaking for her or over her. You'll also support her with household tasks including cleaning, ordering medication, arranging and attending appointments and managing emails.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Has experience supporting people with complex care needs
    • Is able to use initiative and work confidently with clinical tasks (full training provided)
    • Is patient, consistent and genuinely person-centred
    • Is comfortable with all aspects of personal care, continence care and moving and handling
  • Full-Time Night Shift Support Worker

    Based at a Supported Living Scheme - on-call overnight support across multiple postcodes. This is an on-call overnight role covering several services across Newcastle. Duties include monitoring a gentleman who is deaf during the night and a pop-in visit to support another gentleman with stoma care.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Is a driver (essential)
    • Has a good level of care and support experience
    • Is comfortable with clinical tasks (full training provided)
  • Part-Time Female Support Worker – NE13

    We're looking for a female Support Worker to join the team of a woman who loves a laugh, friendly banter and keeping life full. This is a hands-on role requiring physical strength and confidence with clinical tasks, for which full training will be provided.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Is a driver (over 25, comfortable driving a van)
    • Has strong communication skills
    • Is physically strong and comfortable with moving and handling
    • Is willing to be trained in tracheostomy care, Cough Assist and PEG care
    • Is comfortable managing frequent secretions (due to tracheostomy)
  • Full-Time Male Support Worker – NE3

    We're looking for a male Support Worker to join the team of a gentleman who loves life in the community.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Has experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities or complex needs
  • Outreach Support Workers – Newcastle Area

    We're recruiting Outreach Support Workers to support people to live independently and stay connected to their communities across Newcastle. Paid experience is not essential - but you should have either personal experience of supporting someone with a disability or a background in a care or support setting.

Pay, Bonuses & Rewards:
