We’re recruiting Care Assistants across several areas in Liverpool, with a mix of full-time and part-time roles available.
As a Care Assistant, you’ll support people to live independently at home with dignity, choice and compassion. We’re currently seeking Care Assistants to support people living in Barkerend, East Bowling, Girlington, Toller, and Great Horton (BD1, BD3, BD4, BD5, BD7, BD8, BD9, LS28).
Our next paid induction training starts on 2nd February, and you could earn up to £300 as a New Starter Bonus (terms apply). Please note: due to the personal nature of the support, this role is open to female applicants only (in line with the Equality Act 2010). No sponsorships available.
Pay, Hours & Bonuses
- We offer block pay (not pay per call) - you’re paid from the start of your first visit to the end of your last visit within a shift.
- £12.82 per hour (drivers)
- Mileage: 45p per mile (drivers) / 20p per mile (cyclists)
- Full-time & part-time hours available (role dependent)
About the Role
You don’t need previous care experience - if you’ve cared for family, friends, or simply have the right values, we’ll give you all the training and support you need. As a Care Assistant with Be Caring, you will:
- Support people to meet their personal outcomes
- Promote independence using enabling approaches
- Deliver personalised care based on choice and control
- Provide personal care that protects dignity
- Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and colleagues
- Record and share information accurately and on time
- Help people stay connected to their communities
Working Patterns
All roles follow agreed shift patterns:
- Early shift: 6:30am – 2:00pm
- Late shift: 3:00pm – 10:00pm
You’ll work on a 2-week rota, including:
- Alternate weekends or Every Saturday or every Sunday
- Evenings agreed within your contracted hours
