ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Treasury and Investment Manager to oversee the management of Founders Pledge’s cash and investment assets. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for managing approximately $100M and growing in assets under management (AUM) for our Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) and thematic philanthropic funds.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Cash Management: Oversee day-to-day cash management across multiple currencies. Collaborate with the Philanthropic Services (PS) team to forecast cash needs. Monitor and manage bank and investment accounts for all DAFs. Manage foreign currency payments to optimize FX rates. Support month-end processes and ensure smooth reconciliation of balances.
- Investment Management: Oversee investment portfolios ensuring alignment with FPs overall investment policy. Support the PS team with new gift acceptance and currency issues. Assist in evaluating investment opportunities to optimize returns. Forecast medium- and long-term funding and hedging requirements.
- Reporting and Compliance: Review monthly investment performance and allocate returns to DAFs. Establish robust reporting practices for investment balances. Work closely with the Financial Controller for reconciliations.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with banking partners in the US and UK. Organize and lead quarterly performance reviews with investment partners.
