We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to expand Collins' presence in UK Trade channels, including education, reference, and online markets, supporting the Sales Director. The role involves developing sales strategies, particularly on online platforms like Amazon, and within specialist and trade channels. The position is ideally based in Glasgow, with a focus on Scottish and Northern English markets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing Collins' sales across multiple channels in collaboration with teams in London, Glasgow, and Honley.
  • Maintaining market-leading presence on Amazon.
  • Developing growth plans and identifying new opportunities, especially in retail and wholesale markets relevant to Collins Reference lists.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with retailers.
  • Conducting market research and providing feedback on trends and competition.
  • Identifying new publishing opportunities and market gaps.
  • Enhancing brand visibility.

Candidate requirements include:

  • Demonstrated commercial sense.
  • Understanding of online retailing.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude.
