Reports to: Investment Partnerships and Advisory Director

Contract: Full time; Permanent

Location: Hybrid / London, EC1Y and homeworking

The opportunity:

This is a pivotal, varied role at the heart of our Investment Partnerships & Advisory team – the team that provides support and tools to investors to help them allocate more money to tackling social issues.

You will be the dependable engine room for our investor relations and regulated advisory work, keeping communications sharp, compliance records watertight, and investor engagement moving. It is a role for someone who is exceptionally organised, a confident writer, and comfortable working close to FCA-regulated activity.

As BSC implements its 2026 strategy, and looks to mobilise billions of additional investor capital, the Officer will help ensure investor communications, compliance records and engagement run to a consistently high standard.

What you will do

Regulated advisory and compliance support

Administering certain regulatory procedures such as financial promotions and partner due diligence.

Providing compliance monitoring support.

Investor engagement and communications

Responsible for drafting and distributing regular investor and advisory newsletters.

Supporting on the creation of thought leadership pieces and investor FAQs.

Maintaining and updating the CRM system (Salesforce).

Monitoring news and regulatory developments for engagement triggers, maintaining engagement plans and ensuring engagement takes place as planned.

Supporting on the production of high-quality financial reporting and investor communication materials, including presentations and case studies.

Managing responses to due diligence and other ad hoc investor requests.

Creating investor briefing notes, summarising meetings and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.

Events management

Overseeing the team’s events calendar and attendance including sourcing relevant events to attend, as well as securing and preparing for speaking opportunities.

Planning and facilitating the smooth running of BSC-hosted investor-facing events.

Coordinating and engaging with the steering committee for the Future Impact Finance (FIF) network.

Onboarding new network members and maintaining membership records and mailing lists.

Providing logistical support for FIF network and Investment Partnerships & Advisory events.

Helping manage BSC’s strategic support relationships, including acting as the liaison point across BSC.

Team operations, data and AI

Providing general team administration and keeping shared sites and records up to date.

Helping oversee the progression of data and AI projects through for the team.

Other

Participate in at least one ‘BSC Citizenship’ activity, helping to make BSC a great place to work. This could be helping to organise our summer or winter social, joining the Staff Council or helping with health and safety

What you will bring

Some experience in investor relations support, or in compliance/regulatory administration within or for an FCA-authorised firm.

Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines and keep accurate records.

Confident written communication, including the ability to turn raw input into clear case studies and briefing materials.

Sound judgement when handling regulated, sensitive or confidential information.

Comfortable working with a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and with AI tools (Claude).

Exposure to an investment company or vehicle (for example regulatory announcements, investor reporting or due diligence responses).

Prior knowledge or interest in social enterprise, charity or impact related work.

Skills, Abilities and Attributes

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to recurring processes.

A clear and confident communicator, able to adapt tone for investor and stakeholder audiences.

Discreet and reliable, and comfortable owning compliance-sensitive work with limited supervision.

Proactive and collaborative, with the initiative to spot gaps and follow up without being asked.
