Floor Sanding Technician / Trainee
Location: North Hertfordshire (Hitchin / Stevenage / Letchworth area)

Salary: £12.00 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We\'re a small, friendly business specialising in wood floor sanding and restoration.
We work across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London, restoring and finishing hardwood floors in homes, schools and commercial properties.

The Role
We\'re looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our growing team.
Whether you\'re an experienced floor sander or completely new to the trade, we\'ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Your main duties will include:
- Sanding, edging and finishing wooden floors using professional equipment
- Preparing job sites and maintaining tools
- Applying stains, oils and finishes
- Working safely and tidily on domestic and commercial sites
- Learning the craft from experienced team members

What We\'re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Takes pride in good-quality work and attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
- Previous trade experience (flooring, carpentry, decorating etc.) is a bonus but not required
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (occasional optional Saturdays)
- Day shifts, 8-hour typical working days
