Role Description
As a Senior Rating Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing commercial property rating assessments and appeals, liaising with clients, mitigation schemes and negotiating with rating authorities. You will prepare reports, gather property data, and analyze the information in order to provide expert advice. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and contribute to business development by nurturing client relationships. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Basingstoke, with the flexibility to work from home on agreed days.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial property rating assessments, client reporting, mitigation and appeals handling
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management abilities
- Full driving licence essential
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualification or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to thrive in both in-office and remote working environments
