BDS Recruitment are looking for a Support Worker to work with service users fleeing domestic abuse. Posts are available across Liskeard, Launceston and Bodmin. The successful applicant will have relevant previous experience in this sector and dealing with domestic abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Helping Adults and Children settle into the accommodation
- Be a proactive listener and be able to make the residents feel comfortable
- Helping residents move on when they feel ready
- Assisting them with any life changes e.g. training course
This is a temporary ongoing contract to start ASAP. Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Must be a driver with access to a vehicle. Must hold an enhanced DBS including Child and Adult Workforce from the last 12 months/on the update service.
