BDS are currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to work with a well-established Housing Association supporting a patch covering across the West Midlands. You will be providing housing support to vulnerable clients with learning disabilities. You will be the first point of contact with respect to complaints, tenancy management, anti-social behaviour, tenancy enforcement, income management and lettings. You will manage your own diary and as a mobile worker you will be expected to spend most of your time on site where your patch is located. These areas include; Birmingham, Black Country, Nottingham, Kidderminster, East Staffs, Leicester and Derby. Main duties include but are not limited; * Effectively manage of void properties * Managing rent arrears effectively * Respond accordingly to all instances of anti-social behaviour (ASB) to help resolve matters and prevent further incidents. * Prioritise income maximisation and avoidance of loss of income through rent losses from voids and arrears * Ensuring letting of property is in line with local policy with sign up where necessary. * Drawing up and getting tenants signed up to tenancy agreements, including the use of pictorial tenancies, tenancy training, ensuring mental capacity or arranging best interest assessment Hours; 37 hours per week (flexible working between 8am till 8pm Monday to Friday) Hybrid working available £18.19ph PAYE- £23.57ph UMB Temp ongoing to start ASAP YOU MUST BE A DRIVER WITH ACSESS TO A VEHICLE!
