BDS are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Housing Association based in Oldham for a Head of Health & Safety and Compliance. You will spend your time leading and managing Health and Safety and property safety & compliance for the client. Duties will include but not be limited to: * Managing Health & Safety and Property Safety * Ensuring full compliance through the safety framework * Leading the Health & Safety and compliance teams * Managing various assets including fire, gas, electrical & asbestos * Overseeing key safety projects The candidate: * Housing Management level 5 qualification required * Appropriate academic qualification (HNC, Degree, NEBOSH, Building Safety/Compliance Qualifications. * Strong knowledge of current best practice in property safety and able to keep up to date with evolving and changing good practice * Full driving licence with access to a vehicle. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week 09:00 – 17:00 with some flexibility if needed, there is a also a hybrid option with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Pay will be up to £500 per day dependent on experience
