About the role:
On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving the understanding and deployment of a quality culture within the value streams
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal and customer quality concerns
- Leading and managing disciplined problem-solving activities from containment to the effective implementation of robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Generating, reporting and analyzing Quality KPI’s
- Raising and managing concessions.
- Continually improving the production process to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Proactively monitoring and auditing the production processes to prevent scrap and non-conformance.
- Developing & maintaining control plans and part/process verification checks/audits.
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained during new product introduction.
- Assisting with the development of PFMEA’s and the submission of internal PPAP documentation.
- Supporting the development and review of internal documentation within the ISO9001 management system for Procedures, SOP’s, WI and Forms that support operational excellence.
- Providing strong support to the value stream Quality Leader in driving through operational excellence
- Operating with minimum supervision and full autonomy to drive the day-to-day activities to closure to meet customer and internal expectations.
About you
We want to make sure you’re set up for success in our mission. To be successful in your application you’ll need:
- Proven knowledge and experience of core tools APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Cpk, FMEA and control plans
- Strong experience of leading disciplined problem-solving activities to completion
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings (GD&T)
- Experience of completing product and process audits – ISO 9001 systems
- Self-motivation and ability to work in a team.

- IT skills
- Act as Deputy for the Quality Leader
Essential qualifications:
- Proven experience of working in a quality/engineering environment.
- Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Engineering Discipline
Desirable skills/Qualifications
- LSS Black belt or Green belt
- Experience with Automotive or Aerospace quality systems
- ISO9001 (or higher) Lead or Internal Auditor
