What will you be doing?

In this role you will be responsible for maximizing sales and market share of Baxi Genuine Parts through building relationships with specific BGP Distributors sales teams, Electrical Wholesaler branches and both Independent and National merchant branches and regional teams. Supporting the wider Baxi specification teams to engage with councils and Facilities management providers to ensure the continued use and specification of Baxi Genuine Parts and promote our service proposition.

On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting with forecast demand by identifying trends and having close relationships with key customers and decision makers.
  • Managing sales activity for your area.
  • Meeting and exceeding all KPI’s outlined by your manager.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, reports and communications.
  • Working closely with local residential ASMs to drive awareness about BGP and the importance of the same.
  • Attend installer training days to drive awareness.
  • Managing the needs and expectations of our customers, aiming to influence the buying decision.
  • Identifying and developing new customer relationships as well as managing existing accounts.
  • Building effective and cooperative working relationships with all internal and external colleagues.

  • Have a sales mindset, willingness to learn and drive to succeed.
  • Territory planning and time management skills - it is a large geographical area which will require meticulous planning.
  • Ability to analyse and present data.
  • Experience of negotiation and dealing with conflict.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the market, products and services.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent all-round communicator, possessing strong electronic, written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
