An exciting and challenging new opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager for the Baxi Residential One-Off sales team, covering Areas KT GU SL RG.
As Area Sales Manager, you will be required to maintain existing one-off installers and grow business levels with them via a network of merchants, to achieve set targets for selling Baxi domestic solutions including gas boilers, ASHP’s, unvented cylinder ranges & domestic point of use Heatrae Sadia products. You will also be responsible for working with merchants in that area to sell the Baxi & Heatrae Sadia product range and pull through sales from the installers to the merchants. This will involve trade events, face-to-face booked appointments, and telephone contact with both merchants and installers.
This role is vitally important to Baxi, and we will be looking for a highly motivated individual who will work diligently using a journey plan, finding lucrative new business via the installer and merchant sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Strive to maintain & grow market share and volume for relevant Baxi & Heatrae products, whilst being mindful of margin contributions.
- Fully embrace the vision and values of the company.
- Organised, pro-active approach to managing sales activity for the company.
- Deliver the budget and build the new installer pipeline.
- Meet and exceed all KPI’s as outlined by your manager.
- Manage day-to-day activities, own reports and communications.
- Identify trends and have close relationships with key customers and decision makers.
- Work on multiple targets at different stages simultaneously.
- Negotiate and manage the needs and expectations of our customers, aiming to influence the buying decision.
- Identify and develop new customer relationships as well as managing existing accounts.
- Build effective and cooperative working relationships with all internal and external colleagues.
- Ensure all Health and Safety procedures and current guidelines are upheld.
About you:
We will be looking for a highly motivated individual who will work diligently using a journey plan, finding lucrative new business via the installer and merchant sectors.
Education & Experience:
Ideally, you will have experience of our marketplace, but the important attribute is that you are self-motivated; work well in a team environment and have the ability to talk to installers / merchants and sell them the features and benefits of the Baxi and Heatrae Sadia range. The successful applicant would also need to work with our Key Account Merchants in building up a trusting relationship for the benefit of all concerned.
