We’re BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world. We work with the companies that are Britain’s economic engine – ambitious, entrepreneurially-spirited and high‑growth businesses that fuel the economy – and directly advise the owners and management teams that lead them.
Our rapidly growing Private Client Team manages funds, businesses and trusts of individuals, families and entrepreneurs. Alongside solving a constantly evolving range of technical challenges, working in this team means building strong relationships with individuals so you can become their trusted advisor and oversee their tax affairs in line with what they want to achieve as an individual or business.
Leading organisations trust us because of the quality of our advice. That quality grows from a thorough understanding of their business, and that understanding comes from working closely with them and building long‑lasting relationships. You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively.
The Trust specialists in our Private Wealth team deal with tax planning and compliance for UK and offshore trusts, estates and UK private grant‑making charities and they have ambitious growth plans with a significant part of the work being ad‑hoc consultancy.

- Has proven specialist technical private client experience, and the ability to deal with complex tax issues, gained within a practice environment.
- Has strong experience and the ability to lead projects, with support from senior members of the team, in succession planning for multi‑generational families and provide support to the wider private client team as a technical expert on a wide range of inheritance tax matters.
- Has an in‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation, including Trust and IHT related matters.
- Experience of reviewing Trust accounts and associated tax aspects.
