You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.
This role will join the Outsourcing team as a client facing Director. This team manage the outsourced financial function for a range of business and undertake specialist project assignments to support clients finance functions when they need it for example, on the run up to a transaction, following a merger or when additional resource or technical skills are required.
This role will be your opportunity to join a fast-growing team in a vibrant and modern office environment, working on a variety of client and projects whilst helping to drive the development of the team. This position is ideal for a technically strong individual who has experience of running and leading a finance function from either a practice or industry background and who wishes to maximise their potential and the breadth of their experience in a growing professional services firm.
You’ll be someone with:
- Professional qualification ACA or ACCA or equivalent.
- Ability to lead and deliver engagements including planning, controlling and completing a diverse range of projects that adhere to firm policy on quality.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence, lead, engage and manage a number of stakeholders.
- Efficient and effective time management and organisation skills.
