Business Services and Outsourcing Team
As part of the BS&O team, you will deliver long‑term, sustainable value to businesses by providing accounting, payroll and compliance services, and tying together many of our services across BDO domestically and internationally. You’ll build deep and meaningful relationships with a range of clients from entrepreneurial SMEs to large multi‑national groups and advise on their business challenges while opening doors for other teams.
You’ll be someone who can work pro‑actively, manage your own tasks, collaborate with others, communicate regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners, and identify opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- A qualification with the CIPP in terms of the Payroll Technician Certificate completed, or studying towards the Payroll Specialist Certificate or equivalents, is highly desirable
- The ability to multi‑task and prioritise payroll workload whilst working collaboratively as part of a team
- An understanding of ongoing changes to legislation which affect payroll
- Confidence in supporting our clients and managing expectations
- Proficiency in Excel, especially the use of pivot tables, conditional formatting, VLOOKUP’s and other Excel formulas and shortcuts.
