By providing expertise in many different specialist areas of tax, they collaborate across BDO to deliver wider business solutions. You’ll be providing Tax Advisory services to start-ups and scale-ups, private businesses and FTSE listed multinationals. Each of our clients has different needs, and in applying your expertise in different contexts, you’ll develop your skills and gain valuable experience throughout your career.

You’ll be someone who is comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners.
This role will provide corporate tax compliance, advisory and accounting services to a range of clients from small start-ups to major multinationals, predominantly within the real estate and construction sector. Responsibilities include:
- Working and developing relationships with clients to advise on corporate tax planning and restructuring projects in the UK.
- Producing complex UK tax computations and returns.
- Proactively managing your own workload, communicating with managers/directors/partners on a regular basis.
- Identifying further opportunities to develop new work.
We’re looking for someone with:
- An understanding of and previous experience within UK corporate tax compliance.
- Some experience of providing corporate tax advisory and compliance services to primarily corporate groups.
- A keenness to develop a career within the real estate profession.
- The ability to prepare proposals for new work, including researching target client companies and technical issues.
- The ability to manage a small client portfolio.
- Experience dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
- A degree level education, and CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
