Responsibilities
- Be responsible for overseeing and project managing designated key audits.
- Co‑ordinate projects and liaise with other team members to ensure that relevant parties are engaged during the project.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be responsible for managing inboxes & calendars to drive organisation and structure.
- Work with the appropriate stakeholders to establish and monitor engagement strategies, milestones, key deliverables, management information, and board reports.
- Monitor progress against agreed parameters and associated project plans, identify key risks, resolve issues, and initiate timely corrective action.
- Provide both internal and external parties with regular progress/status reports.
- Exhibit great multitasking abilities and outstanding organisational skills.
- Be at ease collaborating with teams from all business disciplines and levels.
- Help partners and teams reduce their workloads while also enhancing morale and increasing productivity by bringing people together and creating strong rapport.
- Create a culture of trust inside projects so that colleagues and entities being audited may discuss their needs and challenges.
- Display outstanding stakeholder management abilities during audits, both internally and externally.
- Gather data and identify trends and potential new opportunities.
- Utilise more effective processes and systems to create coherent audits that satisfy the needs and requirements of our audited entities.
- Drive a culture of accountability.
- Actively seek input from all parties and conduct evaluations with BDO leadership.
- Assist in driving results by supporting our audit teams’ commercial management and KPI tracking.
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Programme Management role, together with a solid grasp of project management methodologies.
- Professional services experience with a preference for Audit.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Workday or PowerBi an advantage.
- Ability to coach others in project/programme management methodologies and work within our Project Management framework.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment of Audits and the working methods.
This role requires a minimum of three‑days‑a‑week office attendance.
