Responsibilities
- Deliver UK VAT advice to a range of clients, from small businesses to large organisations.
- Build and manage your own advisory portfolio, working closely with a Director and Partner for support and guidance.
- Serve as a proactive, independent professional who manages tasks while collaborating with colleagues, seniors and clients to help businesses achieve their goals.
- Engage directly with HMRC and other relevant authorities to resolve client matters.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring detailed and accurate reporting and documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience and interest in UK VAT.
- Attention to detail and a clear communication style.
- Willingness to develop and grow a professional network within the Reading office.
- Experience dealing directly with HMRC.
- CTA or equivalent qualification, or an equivalent commercial experience, either full or part qualified.
