In Transaction Services, you will have the opportunity to support a range of clients by providing due diligence services to support them through events such as acquisitions, sale processes and capital markets transactions. We help to deliver successful transaction outcomes through our data-driven insights and commercial acumen.
You’ll be an Associate Director required to independently, and with the support of other Associate Directors, Directors and Partners, develop and grow the Transaction Services business within Corporate Finance, as well as develop team members. You’ll have a good understanding of, and experience in, the field of financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or financial buyers and vendors and/or reporting accountant’s work. You’ll also have developed sector knowledge.
As an Associate Director you will:
- Manage financial due diligence projects, which includes:
- Overseeing the day-to-day progress of projects and driving the delivery of quality transaction advice to our clients
- Creating environments in which our people can thrive, supporting their development and progression
- Working across multiple concurrent projects, prioritising clients and teams effectively
- Managing client relationships
- Taking ownership of commercial and risk management
- Helping our team to use new tools and approaches (such as data analytics)
- Identifying and developing client opportunities
- Maintaining existing client and referrer relationships including through Key Account Management programmes
- Delivering pitches and presentations to win work and grow our brand
- Identifying areas for operational improvement and taking ownership of projects to implement change

We’re looking for someone with:
- Good working knowledge of transaction services
- Previous experience of managing teams
- Self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team, but can also work autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates a pro-active approach to continuous development
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular, PowerPoint and Excel
