About the role

We are BDO, a global accountancy and business advisory firm dedicated to helping entrepreneurial businesses thrive.

Responsibilities

  • As a key member of the Global Employer Services group, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients.
  • Your primary duties will include managing a portfolio of existing clients, assisting Directors & Partners, developing targets to drive business growth, and supporting senior staff in client work and group management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to advise on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership.
  • In-depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and related reward tax areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax.
  • Expertise on split interest, freezer and nil-paid arrangements.
  • Experience preparing share valuations and liaising with HMRC.
  • Staff management and mentoring experience.
  • Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients, including agreement of fees.
  • Degree level education (LLB preferred) and/or CTA, ATT/ACA or equivalent qualification.
