You'll be providing VAT Advisory services to start-ups and scale-ups, to private businesses and FTSE listed multinationals as well as public sector and not-for-profit entities. You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients including being involved in special assignments on an ad hoc basis, whilst ensuring the Firm's quality and risk standards are met. The role will be supported by the VAT Director and VAT Partner.

Provide VAT advisory services with some compliance element to a wide range of clients, getting involved in special assignments on an ad hoc basis. Ensure the Firm's quality control procedures are adhered to as appropriate, and the Firm's professional standards are met. Highlight risk, quality control and technical matters to the Partner/Director, whilst exercising judgement within agreed parameters. There will be an expectation that you will take full responsibility for project delivery on the portfolio.
