Global Employer Services help companies and individuals moving countries and assist with any tax implications that occur in the move. Working with a broad client base, from start-ups to multinationals who are often moving abroad for the first time, the team work with companies as a whole and with individual employees to help them with some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively.

You will be a key member of the Global Employer Services group, this role will provide reward and share schemes services for a wide range of clients. You will be responsible for assisting Directors & Partners in providing Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business.

  • Ability to advise on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership
  • An in-depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and knowledge of reward tax and related areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax etc
  • Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives
