Tax Advisor – BDO
BDO is a professional services firm providing tax advisory services to a range of businesses across the UK and internationally. The Tax Advisor will play a key role in supporting clients with tailored tax solutions and delivering value through expertise and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and mitigating tax compliance and planning advice for clients, including complex structuring and project work.
- Conducting tax due diligence, transaction work and other advisory services, liaising with specialists and overseas BDO offices.
- Managing the full cycle of client engagements, from brief to delivery and relationship management.
- Preparing proposals for new work, researching target clients and technical issues to identify solutions.
- Leading large-scale or complex projects and providing high-quality, commercially viable technical advice.
- Collaborating with senior managers, Directors and Partners to deliver high-quality client service and identify opportunities for additional service delivery.
Qualifications
- A degree level education and/or qualified as CTA, ACA or equivalent, with demonstrable post-qualified experience.
- Experience delivering tax planning and complex tax issues within a strategic framework.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide technically excellent, commercially viable advice.
- Experience of people management and leading large-scale or complex projects within own area of expertise.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative working style.
