The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.

Position can be based at any of our office locations; however, regular travel to London as well as other regional offices will be required. You’ll be someone who is comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long‑term value.

Responsibilities

  • Development of impactful, innovative content that meets learner needs and delivers clear business outcomes.
  • Supporting the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance team in ensuring appropriate evaluation metrics are put in place and analyse evaluation reporting at a programme level to consider the impact of this on future design iterations.
  • Developing and maintaining relevant business relationships that are integral to programmatic design such as content SMEs.
  • Supporting the delivery of programmes with onsite project management and/or facilitation support as appropriate.
  • Supporting the design, curation or creating of content under the direction of the Learning Development team.
  • Supporting the delivery of content under the direction of the Learning Implementation team.
  • Supporting the evaluation of content under the direction of the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance team.
  • Supporting the wider L&D team with development, delivery and evaluation activities providing coaching as needed.
  • Leveraging practising audit experience to support the development of relevant learning.
  • Collaborating with the Innovation and Technology team to enable effective learning design that appropriately leverages innovation and technology.
  • Working with the Business Partnering team to understand the training needs for specific training and translate those needs into learning objectives / content.
  • Working closely with the Learning Implementation team to deliver a successful learning intervention, including on‑site support as needed.
  • Collaborating across the function and with wider people teams to ensure that L&D activity is aligned and to share best practice.
  • Advocating change where needed, leading by example and seeking support as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Audit Assistant Manager (or equivalent) with an interest / passion for Learning & Development.
  • An ACA/ ACCA or overseas equivalent qualification.
  • Detailed understanding of audit methodology (with current / recent experience of applying that methodology in practice) and a desire to support the Stream’s quality improvement agenda.
  • Prior experience of delivery is beneficial but not essential, as is prior experience of writing detailed technical content for documents such as audit committee reports or consultations.
  • Interest in developing self and others through the development and delivery of high‑quality learning interventions (both technical and non‑technical).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship skills with an ability to work with varied stakeholders, influence agendas, problem solve and drive forward activities.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of business strategy and goals and a focus on delivering effectively against these.
  • Focus on operational excellence and quality.
