BDO is reshaping its Sales and Marketing team to support growth ambitions.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to support the delivery and optimisation of email and automation journeys that drive engagement and nurture leads, aligned with BDO’s sales methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy email and automation workflows in Hub Spot using approved templates and governance standards.
  • Create and manage lists/segments, workflows, triggers and basic scoring components as required.
  • Maintain campaign set‑up accuracy including naming conventions, tagging and required fields.
  • Run QA for journeys and emails (links, personalisation, rendering, segmentation logic, suppression rules).
  • Support campaign execution of email/automation components, ensuring briefs are complete and timelines are met.
  • Build and maintain targeted nurture journeys for priority account sets as defined by senior leadership.
  • Support reporting inputs, produce performance reports (engagement, conversions, progression signals) and recommend improvements.
  • Implement optimisation changes to journeys based on insight and direction from senior role.
  • Ensure tagging, lifecycle stage fields and handoff indicators are applied correctly.
  • Support CRM integration processes by maintaining clean Hub Spot configuration and escalating data issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience delivering B2B email marketing and automation.
  • Proficiency with a marketing automation platform (e. g., Hub Spot, Marketo, Salesforce). Building workflows, emails, segmentation and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and QA discipline; able to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable using performance data, reporting and KPI tracking to inform improvements.
  • Good stakeholder communication and ability to coordinate inputs and timelines.
  • Commercial outlook and understanding of client needs.
