As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the delivery of cyber risk advisory and assurance engagements, leading workstreams to ensure high-quality outcomes, strong client service and effective management of timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations. You will help clients strengthen cyber governance, risk management and control frameworks in line with recognised standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT and NCSC guidance, while coordinating assessments, gathering evidence and producing clear, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders. Alongside identifying opportunities to improve client controls and add value, you will also mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
You’ll be someone with:
- Experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Technology Risk, IT Audit or Operational Risk, ideally gained within a consulting, advisory or professional services environment.
- A strong understanding of recognised frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT and CIS Controls.
- The ability to manage priorities across multiple engagements, with strong organisation, project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to turn technical cyber risks into clear, business-focused insight.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues and contributing positively to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, COBIT, ACA, ACCA, CIA, QSA or equivalent being advantageous.
