We’re BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world. We work with ambitious, entrepreneurially-spirited and high growth businesses that fuel the economy and directly advise the owners and management teams that lead them.

Our Sales and Marketing team is being reshaped to directly support BDO’s growth ambitions. We’re building a high-performing function that is proud of its technical skills, reliable in delivery, and outcome-led in how we prioritise and execute. You’ll join a team big enough to offer diverse roles and opportunities, yet personal enough to ensure you’re supported and empowered from day one.

In this team, development is central to how we work. You’ll have access to high quality training, clear capability frameworks and hands-on learning that give you the confidence and skills to grow quickly. We use evidence and feedback to improve performance and focus effort where it makes the biggest difference.

The Process and Improvement Analyst accelerates the development and continuous improvement of the Sales and Marketing operating model. The role designs and facilitates workshops, maps end-to-end processes aligned to the operating spine, and produces practical ‘process v1 packs’ that enable consistent delivery, clear handoffs, and scalable ways of working.

The role is delivery focused: success is measured by usable artefacts shipped, adopted and improved over time.

In this role you’ll:

  • Ensure processes are practical for teams to follow and light enough to adopt.
  • Produce process v1 packs: one page process guide + minimum brief/pack + acceptance criteria + QA checkpoints + measures + rollout plan.
  • Support definition of operating contracts between teams (trigger, baton pass, minimum pack, acceptance, where recorded).
  • Build and maintain a central standards/process library with navigation and version control.
  • Provide structure and artefact production for time-boxed working groups; ensure outputs meet release quality.

You’ll be someone with:

  • Strong BA/process improvement experience in a complex, matrix organisation.
  • Excellent facilitation skills; able to turn ambiguity into practical, usable artefacts.
  • The ability to work at pace and iterating; strong writing and structured thinking.
  • Good judgement on what level of detail is ‘enough’ to enable adoption.
  • Reporting/analysis capability to support measure definitions and pack inputs.

At BDO, we’ll help you achieve your personal goals and career ambitions, and we have programmes, resources, and frameworks that provide clarity and structure around career development.

Mutual support and respect is one of BDO’s core values and we’re proud of our distinctive, people-centred culture. Our agile working framework helps us stay connected, bringing teams together where and when it counts so they can share ideas and help one another.

We know that collaboration is the key to creating value and satisfying experiences at work, so we’ve invested in state-of-the-art collaboration spaces in our offices. BDO’s people represent a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and we’ll encourage you to build your network, work alongside others, and share your skills and experiences.

We’re looking forward to the future at BDO, helping entrepreneurial businesses to succeed, fuelling the UK economy. Our success is powered by our people, which is why we’re always finding new ways to invest in you.
