Responsibilities
This role will provide expatriate tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of clients with an international presence/focus. UK employment tax experience/knowledge would also be helpful, but not essential. The primary responsibility is to manage a portfolio of existing clients, assist in developing growth targets, and support senior staff in client work and group management. You will proactively manage your workload, communicate with directors/partners regularly, and identify opportunities to develop new work.
Qualifications
- Significant understanding of and previous experience within expatriate tax compliance, including annual tax return processes for small and large clients, knowledge of tax reimbursement methods, international payroll, and social security.
- Knowledge of recent key updates and focus areas in expatriate tax, such as the Statutory Residence Test, Short Term Business Visitors, and Non-Resident Directors.
- Expatriate tax advisory experience.
- Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio.
- Demonstrable staff management experience.
- Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients.
- Experience dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
- Educated to degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or qualified by experience.
