You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

The HR Workday Product Specialist will be a member of the HR Workday Product Team and responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the HCM product suite of Workday. Reporting to the Senior HR Workday Manager, you will work on technical support, product development, and cross-functional projects. In this busy and rewarding role you’ll also:

  • Provide guidance to the support team on more complex queries
  • Work on all sizes of configuration items, dependent on your skill set and cross-skilling
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Workday Finance, Reporting, and Integration teams
  • Manage system configuration, business process, and security changes whilst ensuring compliance with our internal audits
  • Deliver projects of varying complexity
  • Work as a team to deliver value to the business
  • Work on and support the bi-annual product releases

You’ll be someone with:

  • Demonstrable experience of Workday HCM
  • Knowledge across a number of Workday HR Modules
  • In-depth knowledge of Business process configuration and other HCM functionality
  • The ability to tell the difference between roles, domains, groups, and security policies
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with the wider team and business stakeholders
  • Experience of using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing solution
  • Experience of writing reports and running EIBs
