We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Restructuring team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team that delivers a wide variety of insolvency and advisory assignments.

The successful candidate will proactively manage a portfolio of projects of varying size and complexity, taking ownership of engagements with limited input from senior colleagues while also providing leadership, coaching, and development support to junior team members.

Reporting directly to Directors and Partners, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client service, developing technical expertise, and contributing to business development initiatives that support the continued growth of the practice.

About the Team

The Business Restructuring team advises businesses, lenders, investors, management teams, and other stakeholders on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters.

Team members are exposed to a diverse mix of assignments across both formal insolvency appointments and advisory engagements, providing continuous opportunities to tackle unique and complex challenges.

The role requires a strong understanding of corporate insolvency procedures from appointment through to closure, with particular emphasis on:

  • Administrations, including pre-pack transactions
  • Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)
  • Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)
  • Business and contingency planning
  • Options reviews
  • Financial modelling and forecasting

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of compliance and risk management requirements, alongside the ability to produce high-quality reports suitable for Partner review.

Experience using IPS and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly desirable.

You will be responsible for managing insolvency cases proactively, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

You'll be someone with

  • ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualified.
  • Significant experience within a corporate insolvency and restructuring environment.
  • Strong understanding of Administrations, CVLs, and CVAs.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of insolvency regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Experience managing engagements and leading project teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Word and Power Point.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

You'll be able to be yourself; we'll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.

We're committed to agile working, and we offer every colleague the opportunity to work in ways that suit you, your teams, and the task at hand.
