As part of BDO’s Audit team, you will help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders. Identify risk matters and raise them with a manager or partner, exercising judgment within agreed parameters. Understand the needs of the Audited Entity, suggest technical solutions, and communicate those solutions with managers or partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established Audited Entities, identifying opportunities and acting as a point of contact throughout the year. Conduct rigorous project and financial management on all projects, completing projects within agreed timescales and raising issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, regulatory and compliance issues, including anti-money laundering.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior members of the team.
  • Experience managing projects.
