About the role
We are looking for an experienced eLearning Developer to re-develop and enhance digital learning materials that support the rollout and ongoing adoption of the new eDiscovery tool and related processes, focusing on digital content, assessments, and compliance validation for ongoing access.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development Specialist (Trainer), BC lead, and project team to ensure eLearning reflects current eDiscovery functionality, workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Re-develop existing eLearning modules to improve usability, accuracy, and learner engagement.
- Design and implement assessments and knowledge checks to confirm user competence and compliance awareness.
- Create a short, assessment-based refresher course for users needing to regain access after periods of inactivity.
- Apply consistent design standards and ensure accessibility, clarity, and ease of navigation.
- Partner with SMEs, Expert User Group, Capability Development Team, and technical experts to validate learning content and conduct testing prior to release.
- Manage version control and maintain an organised library of learning assets.
- Support reporting on completion rates, assessment results, and revalidation outcomes to support compliance tracking.
- Support with Drop-in and Training sessions.
Outcome
This role ensures that digital learning content remains accurate, engaging, and integrated with system access requirements — supporting consistent capability, compliance, and adoption across all user groups.
About you
- Extensive experience across the full digital learning lifecycle (7+ years) — including learning needs analysis, solution design, storyboarding, creating eLearning solutions, testing, deployment, and evaluation.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining eLearning for complex software platforms or enterprise systems, ideally within eDiscovery, legal technology, data governance, cybersecurity, or other highly regulated technical environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing learning for systems-based workflows, role-driven processes, and end-to-end user journeys within software platforms.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical, procedural, and product information into clear, engaging, and scalable digital learning experiences.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and UX best practice for digital learning and software-enabled training.
- Experience building knowledge checks, assessments, and interactive learning components to validate understanding and support compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), or equivalent platforms.
- Experience producing system simulations, guided walkthroughs, or scenario-based learning for complex platforms.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and learner experience within digital products.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts, trainers, product teams, and Business Change stakeholders.
