We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our project team, supporting the effective management, control, and distribution of project documentation. This role will be based in our London/Glasgow office.

You will support sites with the setup and ongoing management of document control systems, ensuring accurate, timely information flow and compliance with procedures. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll build strong relationships and provide efficient administrative support to help deliver high-performing projects.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation and ensure accessibility across teams.
  • Support the production of As-Built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
  • Upload, manage, and track documents using EDMS and web-based systems.
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures, quality standards, and audit requirements.
  • Support Health & Safety documentation control, including Method Statements and Lift Plans.
  • Monitor document workflows and provide regular reporting on status and KPIs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team as required.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Document Controller or similar role.
  • Experience in a construction or site-based environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Good communication skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of O&M manuals and project handover processes.
  • Aware of BIM and digital construction.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Full UK driving licence.
