Careys Civil Engineering is seeking experienced Plant operatives to join our team on major civils projects within the Sheffield (S9) area. If you’ve got the skills and a solid work ethic, we want to hear from you! Join a company that values quality, safety, and your growth.

Responsibilities:
- Operate plant of varying sizes safely and efficiently
- Undertake excavation, grading, trenching, drainage and foundation works
- Perform daily pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance
- Work closely with site supervisors and groundworkers to ensure smooth site operations
- Strict adherence to Careys’ safety standards and procedures
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (above and below 10T) / Safety Critical Medical
- Previous experience operating on major civil or infrastructure projects
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Ability to work safely as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Lifting Ops, Confined Spaces, or other civils tickets an advantage
