Careys are recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9). You will manage site logistics operations supporting a large-scale industrial civils project involving multiple work fronts and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all site logistics activities, including deliveries, material movements and workforce access.
  • Develop and maintain logistics plans to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the project.
  • Manage traffic management arrangements, vehicle movements and site access controls.
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors and suppliers to support programme delivery and minimise disruption.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements while maintaining effective site operations.

  • Previous experience managing logistics on large construction or civil engineering projects
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
