This is a field based role covering the North West of England. BDElite is growing! We are a fast moving, forward thinking business, driven by innovation and high performing teams. We are currently hiring an Account Executive with experience in the Fleet and/or Broker space. This role is ideal for someone who has built strong relationships with brokers, broker networks and/or fleets and is ready to take full ownership of accounts, while also actively developing new business opportunities.

You will be working closely with partners across fleet and broker markets, helping them improve outcomes through tailored solutions, while driving strong commercial growth for both them and BDElite. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Relationship Development
    • Take ownership of a portfolio of partners, including Brokers, Fleet Clients, Insurtechs, and MGAs, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
    • Develop and strengthen relationships specifically within fleet-focused partners, understanding operational, commercial, and claims challenges unique to fleet businesses.
    • Act as a key point of contact for partner accounts, ensuring high levels of service, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Lead and deliver regular account reviews, presenting MI, performance insights, and growth opportunities.
    • Build structured account development plans, identifying clear opportunities for revenue expansion and strategic alignment, particularly within fleet portfolios.
    • Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities across BDElite's product suite, with a focus on solutions relevant to fleet operators and broker-led fleet schemes.
    • Regularly review account performance against agreed objectives, taking action to address risks and maximise growth potential.
    • Proactively manage and resolve partner queries, coordinating with internal teams to deliver effective outcomes.
  • Business Development
    • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in line with BDElite's growth strategy, with a particular focus on fleet operators, broker-led fleet schemes, and associated markets.
    • Leverage existing industry knowledge and networks within the fleet and broker space to generate and qualify new opportunities.
    • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, taking ownership of opportunities from initial engagement through to close.
    • Lead onboarding of new partners, ensuring a seamless and professional introduction to BDElite.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and senior stakeholders to support campaigns, product launches, and regional initiatives targeting fleet and broker segments.
    • Represent BDElite at partner meetings, industry events, and exhibitions, particularly those focused on fleet, motor, and broker markets.
    • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with key decision-makers within prospect organisations, including fleet managers, operations directors, and broker principals.
    • Contribute to and be accountable for individual and team sales targets.
    • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments across insurance, claims, and the fleet sector to inform sales strategy.
  • Collaboration & Internal Engagement
    • Work closely with Sales Support to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery for partners, including those operating within fleet environments.
    • Collaborate with directors and senior management to support strategic initiatives, key account opportunities, and growth within broker and fleet channels.
    • Provide market feedback and insight particularly from broker and fleet partners to Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to support continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Build strong internal relationships across departments to support effective delivery of partner solutions and a consistent customer experience.
    • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal sales processes, tools, and best practices, ensuring they support growth in fleet and broker markets.
    • Share success stories, challenges, and lessons learned with the wider team to support collective performance improvement.
    • Contribute to team initiatives, projects, and wider business objectives.
  • Representation & Brand Development
    • Act as a professional ambassador for BDElite across all partner and industry interactions.
    • Lead or support the delivery of presentations, workshops, and product training sessions for partners and prospects.
    • Support the development of case studies, testimonials, and partner success stories to strengthen BDElite's market positioning.
    • Build and maintain a strong personal brand within the broker and fleet sectors, leveraging relationships to generate referrals and new business opportunities.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance BDElite's visibility and reputation within key fleet, broker, and partner networks.
    • Support and enhance BDElite's reputation through consistent, high-quality engagement and relationship management.
  • Training & Development
    • Continue to build expertise in products, market dynamics, and sales techniques.
    • Work towards relevant professional and regulatory qualifications where appropriate.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting insurance, claims management, and the fleet sector.
    • Actively engage in continuous professional development and take ownership of personal growth.
    • Take ownership of continuous learning to ensure strong technical understanding of Legal Expense Insurance (LEI) and related products.
  • Compliance & Health & Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements and regulatory standards.
    • Proactively monitor changes within FCA regulation and ensure knowledge is applied effectively in day-to-day partner interactions.
    • Adhere to company policies, compliance frameworks, and Health & Safety requirements at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within the insurance, claims management, financial services, or fleet-related industries.
  • Experience in account management, sales, or partner-facing roles.
  • Experience working with or selling into fleet operators, broker networks, or motor-related markets.
  • Experienced account executive with the ability to manage and transition existing accounts, driving retention and growth.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of the Claims Management industry (e.g. credit hire, repair, complimentary services).
  • Understanding of Legal Expense Insurance (LEI) and add-on insurance products.
  • Strong understanding of the fleet sector, including fleet operations, leasing, risk management, or motor claims environments.
  • Track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of accounts.
  • Experience working with Brokers, Fleet Operators, Insurtechs, or MGAs.
  • Experience developing or managing fleet-focused insurance or claims solutions.
  • Experience working at industry exhibitions and events, particularly within fleet or motor sectors.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays where required.
  • Flexibility to attend industry events and exhibitions.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
