Overview
In this role you drive growth for entrepreneurial clients by leveraging your network and advisory capabilities. You’ll manage a client portfolio while actively seeking new opportunities in the Halton region, helping entrepreneurs access financing and advisory solutions. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that support Canadian entrepreneurs and the economy. You’ll be part of a collaborative, growth-focused culture with strong development opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Meet with entrepreneurs to understand needs and propose applicable BDC solutions
- Execute action plans to grow and retain clients and build a pipeline of opportunities
- Review, negotiate and present financing proposals with sound credit judgement
- Network with local COIs to develop relationships and generate new client references
- Support clients with advisory services and financing strategies to enable growth
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in commercial banking/finance
- Strong financial acumen and experience analyzing financial statements
- Proven track record in business development and meeting targets
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Strong negotiation skills and results orientation
- Bilingualism in French is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
