The Sales Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in driving operational excellence within the Sales Operations team. This position ensures the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of processes while acting as a key partner to Sales Operations and Sales Leaders. A person in this role must be proactive in identifying process improvements, skilled in data-driven decision-making, and committed to coaching and developing a high-performing team. The ideal person in this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively manages multiple priorities, and is confident in providing mentorship, performance feedback, and strategic direction to their team of coordinators. LOCATION: This role is based in Luton, UK. During the six-month probationary period, successful candidates are expected to work onsite 5 days per week. Following probation, the role offers a flexible hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office and one day working remotely. To be considered, applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Luton, as regular in-person collaboration is an important aspect of the position.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Process Optimization: Oversee daily operations of the sales Operations team to ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to BDA policies and procedures. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall team performance. Utilize reporting platforms to analyze trends, assess workload distribution, and support business objectives with data-driven insights. Act as the primary point of contact for communication with Account Managers and assigned Operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration. Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring timely execution.
  • Team Development & Performance Management: Provide continuous coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets and exceeds expectations. Conduct performance evaluations and set clear, measurable goals aligned with company objectives. Foster a culture of accountability by clearly defining KPIs and holding employees responsible for their performance. Act as a problem solver, proactively identifying workload challenges, interpersonal conflicts, or performance concerns and addressing them appropriately. Develop employees by encouraging a growth mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Collaboration & Strategic Execution: Partner with Sales Leaders to align Sales Operations strategies with overall business goals. Support Operations Leadership in the execution of Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) and company initiatives. Serve as a backup resource to assist coordinators when necessary, ensuring smooth team operations. Adapt quickly to changes and shifting priorities, demonstrating an ability to embrace change and guide the team through transitions.

Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in Sales Operations or a similar role. 1-2 years of leadership experience managing a team of three or more employees. Experience with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce and Oracle E-Business Suite preferred but not required).

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is £46,000 to £48,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, education, and experience, while also taking internal equity and pay fairness into account. In the spirit of transparency, the range listed represents the full base salary range for the role, with starting salaries typically set within this range to allow room for growth over time.
