We provide global reach with our teams in New York and London, and true regional depth through our seven Asian offices in Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Mumbai. BDA has extensive expertise in the Chemicals, Consumer & Retail, Health, Industrials, Services, Sustainability and Technology sectors.
We are now seeking Intern Analysts in our London office for Summer 2026 with the availability to work full‑time for at least 6 months starting from June/July 2026. There is flexibility in start and end dates to accommodate university timetables.

Successful candidates will support deal teams with a wide variety of tasks around our M&A advisory mandates. In particular, an Intern Analyst’s work will typically cover the following:
- Conduct research and analysis for target profiles, industry analysis, potential buyer profiles, comparable listed companies valuation, and comparable transactions valuation.
- Assist in drafting important pitch documents and marketing materials, including pitch books for potential transactions and marketing documents for mergers and acquisitions mandates, such as teasers, information memorandums and management presentations.
- Attend meetings with clients and counterparties, and prepare concise, insightful notes on the meeting.
We are interested in candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Prior experience in finance or banking is highly desirable.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and shows initiative.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage a variety of projects in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.
- An outstanding appreciation for accuracy of information and clean, perfect formatting.
- Consistently produce work to a high standard of quality, thoughtfulness and insight within prompt deadlines.
- Clear, confident social and communication abilities (both written and verbal) to interact in a natural, compelling manner with senior executives.
- Adherence to strict confidentiality.
- A strong interest in Asia and a desire to develop a career in Asian M&A.
- Good commercial sense and an interest and inherent curiosity in companies, their operations and strategies.
- Fluency in English; capabilities in other European languages would be favourable.
- Fundamental understanding of financial statements and valuation principles and techniques.
- Superior knowledge of advanced tools in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
