Mid Creative in Street & Sport Fashion Menswear/Womenswear BDA London is looking for a Mid Creative with strong mens & womenswear experience in Street and Sport Fashion who can translate trend, cultural insight, and retail analysis into clear product direction for clients. This role is for someone who understands fashion through the lens of product, range logic, and customer reality, not just aesthetics. You should be comfortable discussing how ranges are structured, priced, and positioned in the real world of retail, not just creating visual inspiration. You might currently be working in trend forecasting, buying, design, or product development and want to apply that thinking in a more strategic environment.

You’ll work closely with our creative leadership team to help clients turn insight into clear, commercially grounded product strategy.

THE ROLE

You’ll sit within BDA’s core creative team, leading defined workstreams across multiple client projects. Your job is to help translate trend intelligence and cultural signals into clear product recommendations that support buying decisions, range architecture, and customer positioning. You’ll contribute to client workshops, shape creative thinking, and ensure the work we produce is grounded in retail reality. This role sits at the point where creative thinking meets commercial logic.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Translating trend intelligence and cultural insight into clear product direction
  • Contributing to client workshops, presentations, and strategic discussions
  • Supporting product segmentation and range logic for fashion retail clients
  • Ensuring outputs reflect customer intent, price architecture, and retail reality
  • Working with senior creatives to sharpen thinking early and reduce rework
  • Building strong category knowledge within Mens and Womenswear with a Street & Sport lens and adjacent markets
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Strong street and sport experience within fashion retail, buying, design, product development, or trend forecasting
  • A good understanding of how ranges are built, priced, and positioned in the real retail environment
  • The ability to translate broad cultural signals into clear product recommendations
  • Confidence contributing to client presentations and discussions
  • Strong organisational discipline and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Curiosity about fashion, retail behaviour, and consumer change

BDA London is a strategic creative consultancy working across fashion, lifestyle, and retail. We help brands translate insight and culture into clear product direction. The business is currently going through a deliberate evolution. We’ve strengthened our leadership team and are shifting toward a more commercially grounded approach to creative strategy. This role offers the chance to:

  • Work closely with senior creative leaders
  • Develop strategic thinking alongside creative delivery
  • Contribute to meaningful client discussions, not just production work
  • Grow into a senior creative role over time
IMPORTANT TO KNOW

This role will not suit someone who prefers purely aesthetic trend work or loosely defined creative briefs. The work we do requires translating insight into clear commercial direction for product and merchandising teams. You will need to be able to travel internationally approximately once per quarter.
