We’re looking for an Assistant Creative to join the creative team at BDA London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about fashion, retail and understanding what makes products and brands commercially successful. At BDA, we don’t just predict trends—we help some of the world’s leading retailers translate consumer insight into commercially successful products and strategies. Our work sits at the intersection of trend forecasting, product strategy, retail intelligence and commercial thinking.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working alongside our Creative Strategy Director, Associate Creative Directors and wider creative team, you’ll help research, analyse and translate global trends into clear, commercially relevant insights for our clients.
  • Trend and consumer research
  • Retail and competitor analysis
  • Supporting seasonal trend forecasts
  • Creating client presentations and workshop materials
  • Attending international research trips, trade shows and store visits
  • Helping shape product direction across Womenswear, Menswear and Kidswear

This is a role for someone who enjoys asking “Why?” as much as “What’s next?” We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for fashion, retail and consumer behaviour
  • Is curious, organised and commercially minded
  • Enjoys research and turning information into insight
  • Has strong visual communication skills
  • Works collaboratively and enjoys learning from others
  • Is comfortable using Adobe InDesign (Photoshop knowledge is a bonus)
  • Wants to develop into a Mid Creative over time

Previous experience in trend forecasting, buying, design, product development, retail or a related creative field would be advantageous, but we’re equally interested in people with the right attitude and potential.

Why BDA? We’re in an exciting period of growth and transformation. You’ll join a collaborative team working with leading international retailers, have the opportunity to travel internationally, and play a part in shaping the future of some of the world’s biggest retail brands. If you’re curious, commercially minded and excited by the future of fashion and retail, we’d love to hear from you.
