The Laboratory Technician will be joining a collaborative and purpose-driven team focused on ensuring the safety and performance of medical devices. As a Laboratory Technician, you will carry out structured and exploratory testing on a range of products, contributing to the development and improvement of life‑enhancing technologies. This role involves hands‑on testing, accurate data recording, and active participation in the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product testing in line with established procedures, protocols, and timelines
  • Record test results clearly and accurately in both physical and digital formats
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date
  • Report any irregularities in test results or equipment performance promptly
  • Support the development of new test methods and equipment
  • Contribute to investigations, prototype evaluations, and exploratory testing
  • Assist with laboratory upkeep and administrative tasks
  • Provide input and support during internal and external audits

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree in Biological or Engineering Sciences, or equivalent laboratory experience
  • Comfortable interpreting technical documentation and following detailed procedures
