We are now seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Strategic Business Manager to lead our engagement with NHS Supply Chain and Private Healthcare Groups across the UK within our Peripheral Intervention portfolio. This is a high-impact role focused on building senior-level partnerships, shaping national contracting strategies, and driving sustainable growth across both public and private healthcare sectors.
NHS Supply Chain Leadership- Act as the primary strategic lead for PI’s relationship with NHS Supply Chain, holding full accountability for this critical partnership.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, positioning BD as a trusted partner of choice.
- Work closely with stock planners to optimise forecasting, inventory levels, and supply continuity.
- Lead BD’s engagement across private healthcare groups, driving growth in line with strategic and financial objectives.
- Develop and manage senior stakeholder relationships, negotiating pricing and expanding portfolio adoption.
- Own all pricing and catalogue management processes, ensuring seamless execution.
- Partner cross-functionally and with the field sales teams to deliver a compelling end-to-end PI value proposition.
- Drive adoption of Modern Vessel Preparation and enabling technologies within key vascular accounts.
- Engage with procurement, commercial, and clinical stakeholders to secure long-term contracts and agreements.
- Build relationships with ICBs and purchasing groups, enabling system-level engagement and alignment.
- Lead the development of contracting strategies, integrating clinical value, health economics, and commercial models.
- Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver Centres of Excellence, advisory boards, and clinical initiatives.
- Proven track record in medical sales, with strong experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects that drive revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of NHS procurement pathways, including experience working with finance or business managers.
- Highly effective at influencing and negotiating at senior level.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
Salary guide: £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits.
