We have a fantastic field-based opportunity for a Sales Specialist to join our Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) and Interventional Cardiology (IC) sales teams, taking responsibility for the Scotland territory. Due to the size of the territory, this role will cover two portfolios and you will be part of two collaborative, high-performing teams.

Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)

  • Full responsibility for delivering quarterly and annual sales targets across the PVD portfolio
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and position BD solutions to deliver clinical and commercial value
  • Engage with Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Nursing Teams
  • Support appropriate product usage within complex clinical environments
  • Act as an active and visible member of the PVD sales team

Interventional Cardiology (IC)

  • Join a newly established Cardiology Sales Team focused on growing BD’s presence across the UK & Ireland
  • Drive adoption of BD products used in TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) procedures
  • Build strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, cath lab teams, procurement, and key stakeholders
  • Provide in-theatre case support to ensure optimal product use and positive patient outcomes
  • Contribute to a strategic growth initiative shaping the future of BD’s cardiology business

About You

  • Live within the Scottish territory
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Extensive and successful background in NHS healthcare sales
  • Ideally clinically trained, with a strategic and customer-focused approach
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders within the NHS
  • Highly motivated, well organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Willing to travel up to 80% of the time in this field-based role

You Will Have

  • A strong track record in medical device sales, including launching and growing new product lines
  • Proven ability to drive the full sales process against plan
  • Strong negotiation skills with procurement and budget holders
  • Experience navigating complex sales environments with multiple decision-makers
  • Confidence in product demonstrations within complex clinical settings
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to develop clinically and technically sound solutions
  • Excellent customer acumen and relationship-building capability
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, teaching, and presentation skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex information
