We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager for our BD Microbiology Industry team. You will play a critical role in shaping our product strategy for the pharma market, driving new collaborations, and ensuring successful execution. Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
- Align product development and go-to-market strategies with business goals.
- Collaborate with sales & global marketing for continuous improvement & new launches and campaigns.
- Identify and explore new ideas, technologies, and opportunities to differentiate our products and meet emerging customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional portfolio teams to ensure the expansion of the portfolio.
- Coordinate the entire product lifecycle from idea to launch.
- Manage discontinuation and product conversion.
- Demand planning review (provide business forecast to the supply chain demand planner).
- Developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns to promote the BD brand.
- Translate customer requests into viable business cases and ready-to-implement solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Leverage market research and data to inform product decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to product development, market changes, and external factors.
- Make informed decisions to minimize potential impact.
- Creation of marketing material (presentation, brochure, comparison studies, whitepapers).
- Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events.
About you
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Pharmacy or related field.
- 3-5 years in product management in the life science sector (Microbiology).
- Profound interest in microbiology, trends and drivers for the quality pharma laboratory.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience using Project Management tools and methodologies.
