As the Technical Operator (night shift), you will set up and operate high-speed packaging equipment to produce quality products according to customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Ensure safe working practices throughout all areas of production. The working hours are 11pm-11am and the shift is accompanied by an impressive 37% shift premium on top of your basic salary!

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate high-speed packaging lines, ensuring good product quality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or processes, taking appropriate action to minimise downtime.
  • Monitor product quality and adjust as needed to meet required standards.
  • Ensure all machinery is properly maintained and serviced regularly.
  • Collaborate with other operators and technicians to optimise line performance and address any challenges encountered.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, promoting a safe working environment for everyone on the shop floor.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency or reduce waste.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and procedures related to food safety and hygiene.
  • Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to overall operational success.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating high-speed packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for packaging equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality.
