Our new Supplier Quality Assurance Technician will be reporting to the Supplier Quality Assurance Leader and will be responsible for the daily running of quality-related activities for incoming materials. You will be working with cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance to agreed metrics. You will also co-ordinate and make decisions regarding non-conforming product. This is a site-wide role working with the manufacturing teams across the Plymouth site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform raw material incoming inspections in accordance with their specifications/drawings and prioritise activities.
  • Raise Quality Notifications (QNs) following material rejections, follow up with applicable vendor or internal production teams on root cause and corrective actions.
  • Work cross functionally with the Supply Chain Team regarding inventory requirements.
  • Ensure SAP and Flex Net accuracy through regular reconciliation reviews.
  • Action data collection requests and control of trial materials that pertain to site wide raw material projects.
  • Perform raw material stock counts to ensure department accuracy.
  • Support the publishing of SQA Quality results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provide quality support for internal audits and CAPA's (Corrective Action, Preventative Action).
  • Support the SQA Leader and Supplier Quality Engineer on activities such as internal change controls, Test Method Validations and Engineering Change Requests (ECR's).
  • Conduct monthly 5s reports.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comply to onsite H&S and GMP Requirements.

Preferred Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have experience as a QC Technician within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the control of inspection, measuring and test equipment is desirable.
  • Good MS office skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, balance and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong aptitude for data analysis, trending and reporting.
